There are two kinds of embroidery courses available, on demand which can be followed at your own leisurely pace or breakneck speed and online courses, which run in the autumn and winter to keep us connected during the colder months. With a warm and encouraging atmosphere, these masterclasses are ideal for both the absolute beginner and the experienced embroiderer in need of some inspiration!
A little note about Rebecca, she initially trained as an Art, Craft and Design teacher with a specialisation in Fine Art Textiles, and received the prestigious Education Award from the National College of Art and Design in Ireland when she graduated in 2006. She completed her Masters in Textile Art and Artefact in 2015 and then pursued her passion for embroidery when she received her qualification as a professional Haute Couture embroiderer from École Lesage in Paris in 2017. After working as an embroiderer for Chanel, Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and many more of the celebrated Parisian embroidery studios, Rebecca launched Textile Tours of Paris in 2019. She loves sharing her passion for embroidery, art, textiles, beauty and creativity in these online masterclasses and hopes to inspire, motivate and encourage her fabulous students by sharing her knowledge, experience, and most important of all, her joy for embroidery!

Samplers of Seduction
Oh la la! Samplers of Seduction is a collection of beautiful embroidery boxes filled with the finest materials from celebrated artisans in France and Europe. For Rebecca, the embroidery boxes are a labour of love, designed to introduce her passionate students to the exquisite pleasure of embroidering with the best materials while supporting small-scale craftspeople to continue their invaluable savoir-faire. The embroidery boxes are accompanied by an on-demand embroidery masterclass where Rebecca shares her expertise as a professional embroiderer while introducing new materials, techniques and adventures in embroidery.
The Samplers of Seduction collection is inspired by the vintage patterns hidden in the libraries and museums of Paris. A Brief Dictionary of Stitches is the first embroidery box in the collection and introduces 18 of the basic embroidery stitches to begin your embroidery adventure. The Language of Love will be released Autumn 2024, in a new colour, with more textile treasures to enjoy and embroidery techniques to discover. As the collection continues, each beautiful custom-made embroidery box will come in unique design, bringing more colour, joy and beauty to your shelves.
